Our objective is to promote the healthy development of the child, their self-confidence, and their social inclusion, as well as to create equal opportunities among individuals through diversified activities and a secure environment that supports and accompanies children according to their age.
We strictly ensure respect and support for the individual pace of each child by adapting age-appropriate stimulations for their early development. In this way, they can use their abilities and develop their personality. The different workshops organized allow the child to search, try, learn, and understand things by themselves, or with the help of the educator if they feel the need. The themes and materials are designed to nurture their creativity and imagination, promote their personal well-being as an individual, and encourage their reflection.
We have chosen to adopt an active educational process, which means involving the children in daily decisions: we propose activities and ask for their choices and desires. We do not impose activities; we invite the child to participate, leaving them the choice as to whether or not to take part, as well as the extent to which they wish to get involved. However, to achieve this, it is essential to create a stable bond between the child and their reference person, so that they feel secure and confident. Only under this condition the child will be able to explore the world with complete peace of mind and autonomy, gaining valuable experiences along the way.
Times of exchange offer children the opportunity to express themselves by creating a special relationship with the adult, all while managing their emotions. Free and symbolic play allows children to interact together, learning to collaborate, to consider the opinions of others, and to share their own opinion while remaining fair. These are true moments of sharing and socialization, where the priority is to accept each one’s emotions.
At the daycare children live their first experiences of cohabitation within a group, developing a value system: it is a daily challenge to discover one’s own will and to integrate into a group as an individual, while respecting others, with tolerance and solidarity. Our educators consider the children as their equals; they are encouraged to express their choices and opinions in the group.
A wide range of materials is directly available to the children allowing them to play and occupy themselves with complete autonomy. They are free to participate and get involved according to their choice and desire, alone or in a group, with the help of the educator if they request it.
Special attention is given to the development of your child’s language skills. This is why our educators are committed to stimulating this learning in all everyday actions. Dialogue between children and adults also takes place through exchanges, little role plays and books in different languages.
As Luxembourg is a multicultural country, it is important to foster linguistic development by highlighting the children’s mother tongues, inviting parents to organize activities in their language.
