Eating well for healthy growth!

Good nutrition is essential, as it influences everyone’s growth and development. To encourage young children to experience their first culinary journey, the food served must be of high quality and healthy! Our meals are varied and balanced, designed by nutritionists, and adapted to different ages. They are prepared in strict compliance with hygiene standards.

At Kids’Ville, we wish to offer a culinary experience using fresh and seasonal products, as well as those of local origin, from the Luxembourg terroir, and/or preferably from organic farming. Fish and seafood come from sustainable fishing.

As breastfeeding is the most natural and best suited to the child’s needs, it is entirely possible within our facility and is even encouraged. A comfortable and warm space, conducive to this moment of sharing and intimacy, is provided.

If it is unfortunately not possible for the mother to arrange to visit our premises, we offer the option to continue breastfeeding using bottles containing breast milk.

Kids’Ville offers two meals a day to the children: a hot meal for lunch and an afternoon snack. For lunch, we work in collaboration with the provider Dussmann Services. Meals are delivered daily through a hot delivery system, using heated containers that ensure ideal food preservation at regulated temperatures:

  • children aged 0 to 6 months: vegetable soup;

  • children aged 6 to 12 months: pureed complete meal and dessert;

  • children from 12 months onwards: complete meal with soup as a starter and dessert.

We are able to accommodate parents’ dietary requests and requirements, notably by offering pork-free, vegetarian, or meals free from specific allergens.

Raising awareness of a varied and balanced diet involves the direct and active participation of the child, regardless of their age and development. The child discovers different products, new flavors, etc., alongside their educators, through numerous playful workshops and educational activities. We prepare the kids afternoon break ourselves, while respecting the food pyramid and the child’s energy and caloric needs.

We organize our meals in small groups so that this moment is synonymous with conviviality and relaxation. It is a precious time enabling to establish social contacts and promoting a sense of responsibility and community spirit: eating should be a pleasure!
